Central Anatolia Region is one of our seven geographical regions. There are 13 provinces in total in our region. These are Ankara, Eskişehir, Çankırı, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Konya, Aksaray, Nevşehir, Yozgat, Kayseri, Sivas, Niğde and Karaman. 1-Anitkabir

It is located in Çankaya, which is the central district of Ankara. Here is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding leader of the Turkish republic, located in Ankara Anıttepe. Many domestic and foreign tourists visit here throughout the year. This should be the first place you go when you come to Ankara.

2-Wonderland

Wonderland, located in the Sincan district of Ankara, was opened as a large park by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. Wonderland, which is one of the largest urban parks in Europe, has enabled the development of Sincan district in terms of tourism. In Wonderland Park; There are recreational areas such as sports fields, picnic areas, cultural areas, green areas, wedding hall and fairy tale island. You can visit the Wonderland, a fairy tale-like place in Sincan district, and have fun with your loved ones here.

3-Cappadocia Balloon Ride

Cappadocia Region is one of the most wonderful places in Nevşehir. This region is a very wonderful region. You can see every corner of it and take a photo of it. You can visit this region by taking a balloon tour. You can watch the uniquely beautiful valleys and fairy chimneys on the balloon tour. 4-Gumusler Monastery

It is located in Gümüşler town of Niğde province. It is approximately 9 km from the city center. This monastery carved in a big rock. Cappadocia has been preserved in our region and has survived to the present day. It is known as the largest monastery in the region. This monastery, which is said to belong to the Byzantine period, was taken under protection in 1973. Do not go back without seeing this wonderful building.

5-Mevlana Museum and Tomb

It is located in the Aziziye District of the Karatay district center of Konya. Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, one of the important figures of our history with his words and life, is a person who conquered the hearts of the whole world with tolerance. Mevlana, who said "Come, come again, whatever you are," is remembered with respect by the whole world. For this reason, Mevlana's tomb is visited by millions of people every year. The Mevlana Tomb, which gives a distinctive atmosphere to the city, is located in a large garden. The tomb, which was built after the death of Mevlana in 1274, took its present form with the additions over time. There are tombs of Mevlana and his family inside the tomb. Mevlana museum is located right next to the tomb. In this museum, there are artifacts from the Seljuk period, manuscripts of the Koran, and sculptures and objects describing the life of dervishes. I recommend you to visit the Mevlana Tomb, which has a peaceful structure in a large area.


6-Meke Lake

It is located within the borders of Karapınar district of Konya. Located 8 km away from the Karapınar-Ereğli highway, Lake Meke is a two-stroke volcanic crater lake. Lake Meke is fed by rain water and groundwater. With the islands in the lake, the lake resembles an evil eye bead. Meke Lake, which hosts many bird species, has been declared a natural protected area and taken under protection. I recommend you to see the magnificent beauty of Lake Meke.


7-Ihlara Valley

It is located in Güzelyurt district of Aksaray Province. It is approximately 40 km from the city center. A magnificent canyon was formed here with the effect of external forces from the lava sprayed from Hasandağı Volcano. If you go here, you should definitely see this unique beauty. It is found in many churches and monasteries here.


8-Eskişehir Wax Sculptures Museum

The Wax Sculptures Museum in Eskişehir is the first and only example of Madam Tussaud's Museum in our country, which is located in many countries of the world. This museum is located in the Odunpazarı District of Eskişehir. This museum met with its visitors in 2013 with the contributions of Eskişehir Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen. First of all, I would like to give some information about the Wax Sculpture. Beeswax: It is a material suitable for making live-looking sculptures. The first sculpture museum made of this material is Madame Tussauds Museum, which was opened in London in 1835. Later, this sculpture museum began to be seen in various parts of the world. It was opened in our country in 2013. There are 160 sculptures in total, mainly Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his family, in this museum. There are also statues of commanders who fought heroically during the years of the War of Independence, statesmen who ruled the state of the Republic of Turkey, world-famous politicians, and important figures in the sports and art community.
